Airbus in recruitment drive
Airbus is to create 300 jobs in its wing design and manufacture operations in the UK in 2013.
The aircraft manufacturer, which currently employs more than 10,000 people in the UK, made the announcement at its annual press conference in Toulouse, France.
President and ceo Fabrice Bregier said the company would continue to bring a lot to the European economy and continue to recruit.
Airbus last year recruited 600 people in the UK, many in high value engineering jobs.
It's wing design office in Filton, near Bristol, currently employs more than 4,000 people, while its wing assembly in Broughton, North Wales, is home to some 5,000 employees.
