Autodesk Q1 net up 14%
Design software specialist Autodesk announced today that its first quarter earnings rose 14% on stronger revenue in all of its major markets.
The company, which has consistently reported double digit earnings growth, said revenue rose 11% to $589million from $528.3m, led by strength in Asia Pacific and the Americas.
"We had a solid start to the year as our overall business continued to deliver double digit year over year revenue growth," said Carl Bass, Autodesk president and ceo. "We were pleased with the performance of suites as customers are embracing the substantially greater functionality and value that our design and creation suites deliver."
The company expects net revenue for fiscal 2013 to increase by at least 10% compared to fiscal 2012.
