Day Three of the British Engineering Excellence Awards has seen new winners announced. They are:
Small Company of the Year: Dynamic Load Monitoring (UK)
Materials Application of the Year: FASTT from ACPI
Dynamic Load Monitoring (DLM) is a specialist in the design, manufacture, repair and calibration of load cells and load monitoring equipment. The judges called it: "A company that is delivering data in real time that will have a profound impact on maintaining critical industrial infrastructure."
FASTT is a worldwide, technological first in providing high flux thermal management without the use of fluids at the source to sink boundary. The judges said: "In a technological first providing high flux thermal management without the use of fluids at the source to sink boundary, ACPI’s innovative approach provides a stepping stone to new solid state technologies."
