Envirowise is running an online seminar to explain the principles behind cleaner design.
The webcast, which takes place today, gives free advice on sustainable design techniques that could help to generate cost savings. Expert speakers include Rob Holdway of design agency Giraffe, and Mark Shayler of eco-design agency Eco3.
Following a general presentation on eco-design it will move onto practical demonstrations of how to dismantle products – and how this can be improved.
“Some companies may be required to ‘design in’ efficiency measures throughout the production life-cycle,” says Jenni Rosser of Envirowise. “Businesses simply cannot afford to ignore the advantages that can be gained through sustainable design.”
