igus to exhibit next gen miniature linear drives at Engineering Design Show
Polymer specialist igus UK will be exhibiting the latest additions to its energy chains and chainflex continuous-flex cables, as well its maintenance-free range of linear guides and plain, spherical and linear bearings at this year's Engineering Design Show.
Visitors to stand B10 will be able to meet the linear drive and cable experts to learn how to optimise processes and reduce costs through innovative use of plastic components.
One of the main highlights at the igus stand will be the company's new drylin SLN-27 miniature linear drive axis with polymer bearings. The device has been developed specifically for simple handling tasks in confined spaces, and offers design flexibility for positioning small loads. The plastic module has high wear resistance, is maintenance-free, self-lubricating and corrosion-resistant, providing a 'fit and forget' solution.
Also on display will be a range of igus energy chains, which are made from high performance plastics, offering high UV, temperature and precipitation stability and resistance to corrosion and impact. There are also ESD/ATEX compliant versions which are proven to function reliably even at extreme temperatures and in adverse weather conditions.
Taking place between 10th and 11th October at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, the Engineering Design Show is the only Show of its kind catering specifically for the needs of today's design engineers, despite the industry in which they work.
Now open for registration, the Show will feature a high level engineering conference and exhibition, as well as free practical workshop programmes led by industry experts.
