Steve Lindsey, CEO at Lontra, commented: “This new suite will take our technology to the next level and push the capabilities of our compressor to new limits. We foresee that this will enable us to develop our product for new applications, enter new markets and craft further innovations.”
With support from the Royal Academy of Engineering, European Commission, and Warwickshire Growth Network, Lontra has significantly invested in its R&D capabilities to further develop its expertise and market competitiveness. Lontra’s ongoing partnerships with Sulzer and Shield Group Engineering have provided the opportunity for Lontra to compete on an international level as it takes control of a market worth £25billion.
In the wastewater industry, Lontra’s Blade Compressor has already proven its energy saving performance; increasing efficiencies by 21.2% throughout its trial at Severn Trent Water. These advanced testing facilities create an environment suitable for controlling and accurately measuring the true performance of Lontra compressors. The testing will enable Lontra to rapidly progress future designs and deliver these advancements to new sectors which rely upon compression technology.
