New range of Henkel instant adhesives to be unveiled at Engineering Design Show
The Engineering Design Show will this year be the launch platform for Henkel's new range of health and safety instant adhesives.
The company's Loctite cyanoacrylates, commonly known as superglues, are completely hazard label free and join the company's established range of products for threadlocking, threadsealing, gasketing and retaining. They are designed to make the COSHH assessment and acceptance process for engineering adhesives as easy as possible and are available in a range of viscosities to suit different applications.
In common with their forerunners, the adhesives are clean and easy to apply and cure in seconds for very fast positioning and fixturing of parts. They extend the application scope of Henkel's cyanoacrylate range, information on which will be available at the Show.
"To have this opportunity to discuss new innovations and provide options for improved design processes across a multitude of industries is very appealing," said Paul Marshall of Henkel. "Henkel has been involved in the design process and technical consultancy for many years and expects the Engineering Design Show to deliver a positive forum for both the exhibitor and visitor."
According to Marshall, the main demonstration on the Henkel stand (C35) will be Macromelt; a low pressure moulding process with hotmelt adhesives that is ideal for sealing delicate electronic components and cabling. Henkel experts will be using this method to encapsulate pen drives that will be given to stand visitors at the Show.
The Engineering Design Show is now open for registration and is the only event of its kind catered specifically for the needs of today's design engineers, regardless of the industry in which they work.
