With a background working in the not-for-profit sector, in her role at ActionAid UK Rebecca has developed partnerships nationally and internationally, with a focus on women’s rights, economic empowerment and climate. Previous roles include corporate partnership development and management at Breast Cancer Now, Marie Curie UK and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Commenting on her new role, Rebecca said: "I am really excited to join EngineeringUK at an important time for the organisation. Education, equity, diversity and inclusion and the sustainability agenda are issues which are very close to my heart, and as a passionate proponent for the positive impact of partnerships, I can't wait to start working with those in industry to bring about the shift-change needed for engineering and technology, and society at large, to thrive".
