The inaugural Manufacturing & Engineering North East in 2015 attracted more than 1300 design engineering and manufacturing professionals to the region to see, hear and discuss the latest engineering and manufacturing developments.Having won three events industry awards, including Launch of the Year and Exhibition of the Year at the PPA Connect Awards 2015, and Event of the Year at the PPA Independent Publishers Awards 2015, the 2016 event will build on that success and once again bring the best of British industry to the Northern Powerhouse.
MENE will comprise three key elements: keynote conference sessions from industry leaders, practical workshops and an exhibition giving access to market leading suppliers covering the full range of design, production and manufacturing. The first class conference line-up includes representatives from Hitachi Rail, AMRC TC, the IMechE and the North East Automotive Alliance plus many more.
The show gives visitors from the North of England and Scotland a great opportunity to source new global suppliers, test equipment, acquire expert knowledge and forge new supply chain relationships at one event.
Registering for the event not only ensures free entry to the Show, it also allows visitors to select the workshop and conference sessions they would like to attend. "Because attendance at each session will be limited and demand is expected to be high, registering early is highly recommended," said Ed Tranter, executive director and show organiser, Findlay Media.
Details about the Show's high level engineering conference and free practical workshops will be announced shortly.
