Rockwell Automation to sponsor Mechatronic Design award
Leading global provider of industrial automation power, control and information solutions Rockwell Automation has agreed to sponsor the Mechatronic Design category of this year's British Engineering Excellence Awards (BEEAs).
Now in their second year, the BEEAs are designed to demonstrate, promote and celebrate the quality of engineering design within the UK.
The Mechatronic Design category is new this year and Andrew Smith, Rockwell's commercial engineering team leader said of the company's sponsorship: "At Rockwell Automation we continually strive to develop automation solutions that provide our customers real value. Entries for the British Engineering Excellence Awards close on 31 July 2010 and the shortlist will be announced on 25 August. The final judging session will take place on 1 September and the Awards will be presented at a lunch event, being held at the Globe Theatre in London on 14 October.
