Development and prototype testing was completed at Red Marine’s recently opened test facility to review, develop and de-risk the proposed installation methodology.
The clamps are manufactured from high grade materials including components machined from Inconel 625, and are said to have a service life of 25 years.
Orrell added: “As we diversify into new markets – including nuclear decommissioning and offshore renewables – this project clearly demonstrates that we can successfully transfer our capabilities to deliver unique and successful engineering solutions for new clients.”
