Twelve pilots in all will compete using drones equipped with Amimon’s ProSight HD system, which is specifically aimed at the fast-growing first-person view drone racing market. The system is claimed to bring unmatched clarity and precision to the pilots and provide a captivating experience for spectators.
Both the Connex and Connex Mini digital wireless transmission systems for professional drones used in broadcasting, photography, surveying and other applications will be on display. In addition, the latest version of the ProSight HD system for FPV racing, which includes new features for night time and indoor racing, will be shown as well.
“We are very excited to be hosting the UK’s very first major digital drone race,” said Oliver O’Brien, director of the UK Drone Show. “The digital era has definitely arrived in the drone market, whether it’s for professional use or in the exciting emerging sport of drone racing.”
