The KTN, the Engineering and Science Group North Wales and the Welsh Opto-electronics Forum will show in this event how light is used in engineering applications as well as showcase innovations in Wales where light is used in manufacturing. The event will appeal to manufacturing businesses giving an appreciation of light based technologies and how they can be applied to manufacturing. It will also showcase job prospects for graduates and inform academic and professional institutions, students and the general public. Talks on manufacturing on the large scale, micro scale and manufacturing for mankind will be on the Agenda. Entrepreneurship will also be included; this is the journey of opportunity, exploration and risk management to create value for profit and/or social good.
