Engineering Innovation - gearing up for the Patent Box

If your business is active in developing new products or processes, you could take advantage of a new government scheme designed to encourage innovation. The Patent Box will incentivise companies by a reduced corporation tax of 10% for 'Patent Box' profits from April 2013. Now is the time to ensure that you and your company reap the benefits. The Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) adopted manufacturing as an official theme in 2012, and sees innovation as a key trigger to successful manufacturing growth. This event addresses why and how this should be done as well as sharing best practice from inspirational companies who excel in innovation.
