To celebrate National Apprenticeship Week 2016 we'll be hosting a number of events to raise the profile of apprenticeships among young people, parents, teachers and the general public.
Apprenticeships are thriving in England and National Apprenticeship Week will celebrate the positive impact that both apprenticeships and traineeships have on individuals, businesses and the wider economy. Employers, apprentices, business support organisations, colleges and training organisations and schools across the country will be encouraged to support the week by hosting activities to showcase the achievements and benefits of apprenticeships.
Following on from our Back to the Floor events in 2014 and 2015 we will once again be inviting teachers from local schools to spend the day as an apprentice and experience first hand what it's like.
Alongside this we'll be running insight visits throughout the week and opening our doors to young people so they can see what we offer and learn why an apprenticeship could be the right path for them!
