ARRK is currently undertaking a significant investment programme in its facility and capability at its Gloucester site. The programme began just over a year ago with the opening of its new specialist CNC building, which sits adjacent to its additive manufacturing facility. The new CNC centre, which houses a range of 5 and 3 axis machines, has been set up to accommodate more specialist and complex work, with the added advantages that a more local manufacturing centre can offer clients. This centre is ideal for clients working in defence, consumer products, electronics and niche automotive markets.
Further investment announcements in ARRK’s 3D Printing capabilities are also due shortly, which will allow ARRK to provide their customers with more complex 3D printed components, and even shorter lead times.Craig Vickers, ARRK’s Head of Prototyping for Europe explains; “Our continued investment in Gloucester and our other prototyping businesses around Europe, is testament to the commitment we have in providing customers with a world class 3D Printing and low volume manufacturing service. By investing in our facilities, technologies and our people, we aim to continue to support clients from across all industry sectors well into the future”.
ARRK Europe will be attending the Manufacturing & Engineering North East Show in Newcastle on 5-6th July, 2017 – Stand C2.
