ASCO Numatics extensive range of actuators for industrial applications includes the round CIS Series which are suitable for use with air or neutral gases. Compact and reliable, the CIS Series is a single or double acting cylinder available in 32, 40, 50 and 63mm diameters. For applications in food manufacturing, the G431 series of stainless steel pneumatic actuators can withstand the extreme conditions experienced in this industry. Quick and easy to install, G431 actuators feature stainless steel covers, tube and rod, no retention areas and a special front cover design. They are suitable for use in saline or lactic environments which are subject to frequent wash-downs using cleaners and active detergents. The CGT range of compact cylinders is ideally suited to stopping, lifting and pushing duties in packaging, handling and transfer applications. Sturdy and robust, the actuators have excellent resistance to radial loads and torque. They are easily adapted to different operations using the wide choice of mountings provided. The actuators can be supplied with either "slide" or "roller bearings" for guiding and feature Double 'T' slots on 2 sides for magnetic detectors. ASCO Numatics also has a range of pneumatic stopper actuators designed for light and medium work holding and conveyor applications in the packaging, logistics and automotive industries. The CSC Series has been specially designed to resist the forces associated with radial loads which can cause seal leakage and, in extreme cases, even bent shafts. The compact CSC Series is available with trunnion or roller type rod end with integrated anti rotation device. Available as 20, 32, 50 & 80 mm bore sizes and with strokes of 15, 20, 30 and 40 mm, the cylinder features self-lubricating side bearings and has an operating pressure range of 1.5 to 10 bar and a temperature range of -20°C to +70°C. The mountings are compatible with ISO 21287/15552 and options include ATEX approval for gas and dust zone 1-21, and front plate fixing.
