Award winning design for subsea cable layer

In fact a great example of how clever design is developing cost-saving products for the offshore sector is the Hi-Trac trenching machine developed by design consultants IHC Engineering Business. This project won product of the year at the 2014 British Engineering Excellence Awards and will be featured in the Conference at the Manufacturing & Engineering North East event, to be held in Newcastle on July 8-9.
