Biesterfeld Petroplas are part of the Biesterfeld group, a family owned distribution company headquartered in Hamburg that has been in existence for over 110 years.
With an annual turnover of over €1.1 billion and over 750 employees across the group, Biesterfeld area leading distributor of Plastic and Chemicals with a presence throughout Europe, North and South America and Asia.
Biesterfeld Petroplas will be showcasing its suppliers at several exhibitions across the year, including PDM in June and the Engineering Design Show in October.

Such suppliers include ExxonMobil, a long term partner of the Biesterfeld group, for products such as Santoprene™ TPV and Exxtral PP across Europe. Santoprene™ thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPVs) are high-performance elastomers, which offer manufacturing flexibility, ease of processing and durability.
Other product groups that will be highlighted at the Engineering Materials Live show will include a variety of products available from our partner LG Chem.
Material such as the newly developed Mass produced ABS grades from the ABS division of LG Chem. These materials have been developed to meet the increasingly stringent requirements in the Automotive industry, with their inherent low gloss and low TVOC properties, key requirements for interior parts.
Also LG Chem’s range of materials from their EP division in Poland, including their Lupoy range of PC compounds and blends and Lupox PBT.
