Oxford Creativity have created a unique learning workshop to help engineers, designers and patent specialists understand all needs, generate innovative concepts and plan the future for your products: “Developing Products and Patents with TRIZ”.
Initially developed as an in-house workshop for a medical device patent team, this has been run successfully for the last 5 years as a public workshop: the next available date is 23-25 April 2018 at Oxford University. More workshop information can be found on our website.
On this workshop you will learn how to use TRIZ to effectively:
- Create next generation products
- Plan your product lifecycle and evolution
- Chart new product areas of strategic value
- Identifying the strengths and weaknesses of current products (both yours and your rivals’)
- Develop and strengthen patents
- Extend current and future patents for wider applications
- Find a clear route to your ideal product.
This public workshop has many interactive team exercises, where participants apply the tools to existing patents. If desired, these can include your patents, and therefore patent-worthy ideas can be generated during the workshop. Each participant will be given a workbook, to enable follow-on application of the tools to their current area of work.
