Lee Spring stock and custom springs to be presented at Williams conference centre in November 2013
Lee Spring is demonstrating its latest stock spring portfolio and custom spring design services at the FAST (Fastening & Assembly Solutions) show, taking place at the Williams Conference centre, Grove in Oxfordshire.
The venue bears particular relevance to the company as the AutoSport market is one of its key targets. As well as supplying key formula 1 companies, Lee Spring has recently supported formula student racing car project competitors and the production of specialist stabilisation equipment for motorcycles used by ex-servicemen.
Springs and fasteners supplied to specialist sectors like this must be manufactured to strict legislative standards. "It can be a matter of life and death when the spring is required for an application within the Automotive, Autosport and Aerospace sectors, for example." explains Nick Lungley, Applications Engineer at Lee Spring. "It is always important that springs are correctly specified for the individual application and that they are designed to the highest quality, using performance matched materials."
The FAST exhibition is the UK's only dedicated fastening, bonding and assembly exhibition for design engineers, production professionals, senior Manufacturing Managers and buyers. Lee Spring has been exhibiting at this event for many years" says Nick. "It is a great opportunity to interact with existing and potential customers.
With over 19,000 stock springs available, including compression, torsion, extension, die, Redux™ Wave and LeeP™ plastic springs, the latest catalogue will be available at the show, demonstrating the entire Lee spring product range, which is now available in both Metric and Imperial (inches) measurements.
For specialist applications requiring springs that are not available in the comprehensive catalogue, Lee Spring provides an expert custom spring design service. Various materials are available to suit any application specific requirements, including a range of super alloys to work within demanding applications.
