New range of timing belt ring slides, pulleys and belts

HepcoMotion has the ability to build ring tracks and continuous motion circuits of limitless size and variation. It can call on a wide range of standard products and ring segments to provide this exceptional flexibility and now it is offering its customers another choice to extend the scope of its PRT2 programme. In line with its continuous development policy, HepcoMotion has just added a range of ring slides that have been designed with a timing pulley profile. These products provide a clean and integrated solution for driven rotary motion. The HepcoMotion® design has a self-aligning V-groove in the pulley which eliminates the need for flanges and the entire assembly provides many performance benefits. High driving force and speed – up to 5m/s at the periphery – are complemented by accuracy and low backlash. Requiring no lubrication or re-tensioning, these new additions also run very quietly. The high quality steel Timing Belt Ring Slides are zone hardened on the V edge and precision ground on all faces except the teeth. A datum register face is provided internally for ease of location and the tapped holes option enables the ring slide to be bolted from below. The HepcoMotion® stainless steel timing pulleys are in three sizes to provide a whole number ratio for most ring and pulley combinations. Polyurethane timing belts are reinforced with high tensile steel tension cords and can be supplied jointless for higher load applications. In common with all products in the HepcoMotion® product range, the PRT2 Timing Belt Ring Slides are also available in stainless steel as a standard choice. And naturally these new additions are fully interchangeable with the popular PRT2 range of internal single edge ring slides. The new range is available with diameters ranging from 190 to 826mm; larger diameters may also be supplied to special order.
