Since electric vehicles now also use electricity to power their propulsion, the market for electric vehicles is experiencing an increase in the need for solid grounding connections, both within the vehicles and the associated charging and other infrastructure. At Zygology ltd we have solutions which can make design easier.
As modern vehicles are constructed using a variety of materials, some of which are conductive while others are not, there is significantly more insulation between the components and the chassis than in older vehicles. In addition, customers want an increasing number of accessories that have to be powered by electricity (dashboards are now digital hubs). Due to these changes, grounding is now not only more difficult but also, in many circumstances, significantly more crucial.
This time we focus on two product ranges from PEM which are very suited to either high-voltage electronics or the assembly of plastic components either within a vehicle or the supporting infrastructure.
