Aerotech PRO Series linear stages are ideal for laser machining, medical component manufacturing, and other motion applications requiring high accuracy positioning in a production environment. They are available in both ball-screw and linear-motor-driven versions. The hard-cover design provides protection from debris while our unique vertical side seals keep dirt and particulates out of the stage and protect the bearing surfaces from contamination.
PRO Series ball-screw-driven linear stages are low-cost and available in 82 standard models with travels from 50 mm to 1.5 m. Their rugged design makes them ideal for difficult industrial environments. A wide variety of travels, widths, speeds, and load capabilities allow you to choose a stage perfectly tailored to your application. Models are available with a 5 mm/rev, 20 mm/rev, or 25 mm/rev ball screw and a matched brushless rotary servomotor to provide maximum travel speeds from 220 to 1400 mm/s.
Aerotech's PRO LM Series linear motor stages are offered in four different series with 38 different models in travels from 100 mm to 1.5 m. They all feature a linear motion guide bearing system and high-performance brushless linear servomotor to make them the stage of choice in industrial applications requiring precise, smooth motion in a production environment. Aerotech's high-power, cog-free linear motors drive the PRO LM series. The non-magnetic forcer coil provides high force with zero cogging for ultra-smooth velocity and position control. This zero-cogging design is ideal for applications requiring outstanding contour accuracy and smooth velocity profiling. Aerotech's linear motor stages have zero backlash, no windup, and outstanding system responsiveness.
All PRO Series stages can be easily combined into custom multi-axis solutions. In addition, Aerotech's complete line of single- and multi-axis motion controllers and drives are a perfect complement and can be included to provide a turnkey system.
