The EXCH handler is scalable up to 2.5m in the x-axis and 1.5m in the y-axis, more than double the working area of typical tripod handling systems. It can carry out full circular interpolation, for tasks such as cutting complex shapes or depositing a profiled bead of glue.
The gantry is available in two sizes, EXCH-40 and EXCH-60, which can move payloads of 4 and 6kgs respectively whilst delivering up to 100 picks per minute.The system can be mounted vertically or horizontally, providing horizontal applications with positioning speeds of up to 5m/s, and acceleration up to 50m/s2 and vertical applications with speeds of up to 4m/s, and acceleration up to 30m/s2.
The EXCH handler is suited for use in packaging goods in the food and beverage industry and general assembly of car parts in the automotive industry.
