Axial angular contact rolling bearings
A compact, lightweight bearing with integrated electromechanical brake has been developed for a range of medical applications.
The Schaeffler Group's ZAXB bearing unit uses an AXS angular contact roller bearing that supports high axial loads and tilting moments, while its integral electromechanical brake ensures secure location in the desired position.
The ZAXB is much lighter and more compact than conventional systems and as a closed system there is less exposure to aggressive cleaning chemicals.
