Gear pump cuts noise levels by 15dBA
JBJ Techniques' ELIKA gear pump is designed to cut noise levels by an average of 15dBA.
The low noise, low pulsation helical pump features a patented design that eliminates the phenomenon of air encapsulation typical of conventional devices.
According to JBJ, the structure of the pump minimises the internal leakage, maximising the volumetric efficiency under all conditions.
This feature makes it suitable for operations with low speed and high pressure.
The first device to come out of the ELIKA range is the ELI2, which includes pumps with displacement from 7 to 35cm3/rev. Maximum operating pressures is 300bar.
