Helical bevel washdown gearboxes
A new range of performance optimised, two stage helical bevel gear units has been launched by NORD Drivesystems.
Targeted as washdown gearboxes, all external surfaces have been designed with wide radii and are specifically designed for use in conveyor technology as well as in the food industry. Further applications include hoists, storage facilities and overhead conveyor systems.
Nord claims the new models have greater power reserves than their predecessors and allow for the use of smaller sizes in some applications. The series comprises five different sizes, with torques ranging from 90 to 660Nm.
