With both closed-loop PID and sensorless modes, the C2000 Series is suitable for permanent magnet (PM) and asynchronous (IM) motor control, and is said to provide precise speed, torque, and positioning across a range of operating conditions.
With a power range of 0.75 to 90kW at 230V, or 0.75 to 450kW at 460V, the C2000 Series is flexible. It boasts several safety features, including a built-in braking unit and certified ‘safe stop’ functionality. The MODBUS communication interface supports high-speed communication, and the CANopen master function is said to be able to control up to eight slave drives simultaneously. There are also several optional cards available for PROFIBUS-DP, DeviceNet, MODBUS TCP and EtherNet/IP communications.
The C2000 Series uses Class 3C2 conformal coating to ensure safety and stability even in critical environments, and the drive can be installed in flange-mount or wall-mount to provide optimal heat dissipation. The system is also claimed to be capable of self-diagnosis, making it simple to operate yet efficient across a wide operating range.
