The transmitters use a ceramic pressure sensor, which provides corrosion resistance for harsh seawater applications and they are fitted with a choice of subsea-certified connectors and locking sleeves to suit specific customer requirements. The SS transmitters are suitable for a range of subsea oil and gas, marine and offshore applications, including pressure, level and depth measurement on unmanned surface vehicles, remotely operated vehicles and other subsea hydraulics systems.
The sensor housing is available in a choice of seawater-compatible materials, including 316L stainless steel, high grade Duplex stainless steel or Marine bronze. All sensors in the series provide dual independent, two-wire, 4 to 20mA outputs, with no signal loss over long cable lengths.
Nominal pressures are from 1 bar to 400bar and the devices feature an operating temperature range of -20 to 60°C in non-freezing media.
