Planetary gearheads target harsh and washdown environments
Heason Technology has introduced a new range of stainless steel, washdown grade planetary gearheads.
The AquaTRUE sereis is aimed at high precision positioning in wet cell processing applications for food and beverage, chemical and pharmaceutical production and caustic cleaning. The low backlash units have a precision of 13arc-min with four nominal frame diameters from 60 to 160mm, output torque to 875mm and ratios from 3:1 to 10:1.
With high radial and axial load capacity and efficiency to 93%, the AquaTRUE design includes silicone gasket sealing and is supplied with IP66/67 or optional IP69K for protection against close range high pressure spray. The 304 grade stainless housings have no external seams or corners to eliminate the need to provide additional enclosures to isolate the gearhead in harsh environment applications.
