Flapper technology is said to be one of the safest and most reliable solutions on the market for achieving fluid isolation. Not only does it exclude particulate contamination caused by friction of moving parts, it also minimises heat transfer to the media, and provides protection to the valve itself from harsh media.
The valve ensures further protection of the media quality thanks to its low internal volume plus a self-draining feature, both of which make it difficult for media to become trapped or stagnate within the product.
The proportional valve has a pressure range of 0 to 4.5bar, a temperature range from 5°C to 50°C and a body made of PEEK material that is said to withstand even the most aggressive media, increasing its life span and ensuring a safe and accurate operation.
