SKF unveils marine condition monitoring kit
A new marine condition monitoring kit has been launched by SKF that promises to simplify and reduce the cost of shipboard maintenance.
The kit includes everything that is needed to carry out reliable condition monitoring and, according to the company, enables ship operators to take a first step towards on-going condition-based maintenance.
The kit comprises the SKF Microlog Advisor Pro, a handheld monitoring device, and marine-specific software with marine typical equipment models.
This software is loaded in the SKF Microlog Advisor Pro and is preconfigured to convert the measured data into an easy-to-understand colour-coded result. The kit also includes a comprehensive step by step user guide to simplify the implementation and training of the crew.
