Conventional thermal imagers with spectral wavelengths of 8 to 14µm do not measure the temperature of glass accurately. With a spectral range of 7.9µm, the thermoIMAGER G7 measures the temperature of the glass precisely, even very thin glass. The G7 come with an additional pyrometer which can be set up to correct for differences in temperature produced by reflective coatings on the glass.
Powered and operated via a USB 2.0 interface, the G7 provides temperature images and profiles of a target area. This plug-and-play unit enables the real time capture and storage of images or video of an event for slow motion play back or snapshots at a later date.
The G7 is weighs 320g, measures 46 x 56 x 90mm and operates across a temperature range from 0 to 70°C and up to 240°C with an integrated cooling jacket.
