Ideal for quick positioning, drylin ZLW is comprised of a carriage-mounted linear guide, driven by a powerful, wide polyurethane or neoprene toothed belt. The use of iglidur polymer plain bearings on all moving parts makes the toothed belt axis self-lubricating and maintenance free. The lack of lubricant also makes the linear robot insensitive to dirt, as particles will not stick to moving parts. Consequently, the axis delivers a high degree of ruggedness across many applications.
Available in either anodised aluminium, for the best combination of lightweight strength and cost-effectiveness, or stainless steel, for maximum resistance to corrosion and chemicals, engineers can configure their own versatile drylin ZLW solution by adapting width, rail distances and length of the axes. The ZLW-20 variant offers a stroke length of up to 3m, three options on carriage width (120mm, 160mm or 200mm), and can handle an axial load capacity of up to 75kg and a radial load capacity of up to 300kg.
