P4.32 rol-e-chain is quiet, low maintenance
igus' P4.32 is a quiet, low maintenance and low cost cable carrier system designed to self-support on long travels.
The device is suitable for a range of applications and industries, including cranes, material handling, gantry robots and warehousing.
According to the company, it easily manages long travels of up to 800m and dynamic speeds over 10m/s. It is also optimised to withstand high loads of up to 30kg/m due to its special roller design.
The rollers are integrated within the links of the chain and are identical in pitch. The comb-like (autoglide) cross bars allow the upper run to glide smoothly on top of itself. These features are said to eliminate any noise or motion issues that normally happen when using standard energy chains in extreme applications.
