Slew ring bearings offer significant space savings
The new PRT type 03 slewing ring bearing from igus has been specifically designed to help reduce the cost of a slewing ring without compromising performance. The module can run without any lubrication or maintenance and has small form factor.
Made mainly of igus triboplastics and anodised aluminium, the slewing ring is lightweight and resistant to wear. The bearing is very rigid and particularly well suited to applications that experience high load capacities. The performance limits of this bearing are rated to 120rpm, axial dynamic loads of 45,000N (pull) and 2,000N (push) and a radial dynamic load of 1000N. In addition, it can withstand temperatures of up to 60°C.
