Damping of pneumatic cylinders optimised

Damp & Seal damps the piston thrust, statically seals the cylinder cover and dynamically seals the inner diameter of the damping pin

VDMA and ISO pneumatic cylinders with pneumatic end-of-stroke damping generally come with a cylinder cover structure that is relatively difficult to manufacture and comprises between 2 and 3 seals. Problems associated with this can be overcome using Damp and Seal, a seal that was recently developed by Simrit. Damp & Seal damps the piston thrust, statically seals the cylinder cover and dynamically seals the inner diameter of the damping pin that is connected to the piston. A buffer that faces the pressure chamber damps the mechanical thrust of the piston at the end of the stroke. Tel: 01455 204 403 e-mail: info@simrit.de
