Versatile IP 66 Diecast Aluminium Enclosures
Sponsored by OKW: ROLEC's versatile 'aluNORM' diecast aluminium enclosures are suitable for electrical and electronics equipment. Typical applications will include machine and process control systems, terminal boxes, test equipment and measurement systems etc.
A key feature of the 'aluNORM' series is the interchangeable base and lid sections which can be secured from either side with the special captive stainless steel fixing screws. This means that the enclosures can be configured in the best base and lid combination for fitting the customer's cable glands, terminals, switches etc.
The 'aluNORM' series is offered in four types: AS, AD, AF and AH in a huge range of over fifty industry standard sizes from 50 x 65 x 40 mm to 640 x 320 x 120 mm. All models are powder painted silky grey, RAL 7032. Other colours and finishes can be supplied on request.
'aluNORN' enclosures have a high protection class rating of IP 66 as standard. The sealing gasket is pre-fitted in the lid section. Uniquely, for this type of enclosure the lid fixing channels are also used for wall or surface mounting. This allows greater internal volume for the electrical assemblies.
Internal screw pillars are provided in the lid and base for fitting the accessory mounting plates, terminal rails, block terminal supports and cross rails, or custom PCBs.
