To prove the speed, strength and durability of LOCTITE Universal Structural Bonders, Henkel engineers designed a rig to connect a locomotive to a 208-ton freight train which it then pulled along a track.

After cleaning and sanding the plates, 3g of LOCTITE Universal Structural Bonder were applied to the plate, and allowed to cure for 60 minutes. The coupler was connected between the engine and the first car.
