Formula Student Single Seater Car
174 teams from Universities in over 30 countries will meet to compete in the IMechE Formula Student competition at Silverstone. The University of Sunderland racing team, SU Racing, is showing its competition car in the week immediately preceding the contest.
The Cobot from FANUC
The world’s first heavy lifting industrial collaborative robot, the FANUC CR-35iA can be viewed working in the foyer. This new ergonomic robot can work safely hand-in-hand with human employees thanks to the use of intelligent sensors.
Hytrec Mixed Fuel Hydrogen Petrol Powered Car
This demonstration prototype from AMAP at the University of Sunderland has been developed as part of a European funded project to reduce tailpipe emissions by combining Hydrogen into the fuel mix.
