Applications and Industries for Azanechiller 3.0
The chiller can be used in various industries such as food production, pharmaceuticals, data centres, and ice rinks. It also has an extended lifespan of over 25 years. Star Refrigeration’s Azanechiller 3.0 is fully exempt from F-gas and PFAS regulations and has an ultra-low ammonia charge of just 0.18kg/kW.

Star Refrigeration’s Azanechiller product specialist, Brooke McKenna, shared that, with over 120 chillers installed across the UK, Europe, and North America, Azanechiller is the most successful and efficient air-cooled, low-charge ammonia refrigeration system available for industrial applications.

As a result, the Azanechiller 3.0 has been engineered for sustainability to deliver low life-cycle costs for customers. Azanechiller 3.0 incorporates IE4 motors, variable-speed reciprocating compressors, high-efficiency EC condenser fans, and close-approach heat exchangers.
