Thames Barrier Visit

This event offers an opportunity to visit the first pier of the Thames Barrier in London and includes video footage of the building of the barrier. The afternoon session consists of a variety of general interest water related presentations.
The day has been designed to be of appeal to the general public, and offers a programme of talks. Access to the Thames Barrier will be limited to 80 people, and strict security procedures will be in place. All visitors will have to pre-register, and no late arrivals will be admitted once the tour is underway.
