Experts in industrial data communications solutions
INSYS icom is a specialist manufacturer of industrial data communications equipment supplying a wide range of devices from simple din rail PSTN modems to very sophisticated routers supporting full encryption, authentication and three VPN options some models with integrated Ethernet switch din rail or desk top.
This means if your Control System, Scada System or outstation is available via landline, mobile network 2G or 3G or the internet then we can get you connected economically and reliably so that you transfer data for analysis or remotely access machinery for fault diagnosis and monitoring without worrying about how; the connection is just there.
The INSYS icom connection management system is intended to take the pain out of setting up secure VPN connections using keys and certificates, fine if you are into networks on a daily basis not so great if you are a controls or process engineer needing to get involved on a less frequent basis. You need only to set up an account and attach a PC or laptop and your chosen router to the system and it will download and install all the keys and certificates automatically. Total control can be exercised by the user in terms of which devices are accessible from which engineers or sites. More information at; www.insys-icom.com
Real Solutions with Linux based sandbox feature
Secure and reliable connections are only part of the story; most of our routers boast the INSYS icom sandbox feature. This is an area of memory independent of the router that is free for user development of extra functions for example data logger, RTU or protocol conversion.
Alternatively choose a free of charge application from our sandbox library;
• Modbus Monitoring, up to 5 definable registers can be read.
• HTML watcher, this monitors changes to HTML based web sites.
• GPS can monitor the position of mobile plant. Send a text if a certain range is exceeded
• Livestock feed and water monitoring system. Sends data via email to a data base for analysis
