New industrial router family from INSYS icom
INSYS icom, technology partner for industrial data communication and M2M technology, launches the new EBW Router series. The high-end devices are quick and easy to set up and operate when used with the INSYS Connectivity Service Alternatively the user is free to establish their own connection via Open VPN, IP Sec or PPTP.
The robust DIN rail mounted routers are compact, measuring just 110 x 45 x 70 mm (l x w x h) and are a reliable routing solution for many industrial data communication and remote access applications.
With the EBW router series we step into a new application and price segment in the market for industrial data communication. Designed for remote access and reliable data transfer and secure routing. An integrated firewall and VPN functionality ensure secure data transfer. The fast mobile wireless EBW-H100 router uses both HSPA (3G) and GPRS for data transfer. The device features a 2-port switch for direct interfacing with an application or the network. The EBW-E100, on the other hand, is a pure Ethernet router with one public and one local LAN interface. Both devices can be equipped with a WLAN extension. In addition to these devices, INSYS icom will release its first industrial LTE (4G) router as a further model in this series.
Both EBW routers provide a reliable and economic solution for remote access and data transfer application such as:
