Join COMSOL's Design Online Webinar | 27 November

Design optimisation is one of the key applications of computational modelling. It can be used to provide answers to design questions, like how should material be distributed within a given space to maximise heat transfer?

Design optimisation can be carried out as a process of iterative refinement by an engineer or designer, based on their interpretation of the modelling results, or it can be automated, where the results are interpreted and the optimal design is determined by an optimisation solver.

In this webinar we will present the different optimisation solvers available in COMSOL Multiphysics® and how they can be applied to a variety of different design optimisation problems, such as; parameter optimisation, shape optimisation, and topology optimisation, this will include a demo of how-to setup and run a given design optimisation problem in COMSOL Multiphysics®.
