Leuze unveils new range of light section sensors
Leuze electronic has announced a new range of Line Range Sensors.
The LRS 36 and LPS 36 devices are designed for economical object detection over long measurement ranges from 200 to 800mm.
They utilise a laser line equivalent to a cascade of 376 sensors to detect presence and shape, and are available in an easy-to-install unit with compact housing design.
The sensors use Boolean logic to monitor various aspects to decide which of four 24V outputs to switch.
Leuze says they can be demonstrated and used within the first 30 minutes of coming out of the box, making them suitable for machine builders and end-user applications.
