Lee Spring will exhibit a selection of springs on stand 5585 at MACH 2014 (the UK's largest event for Manufacturing Technologies) from 7-11 April at the NEC in Birmingham, including some new spring designs.
"Exhibiting at MACH 2014 gives us the opportunity to present our vast range of stock springs to visitors involved within the manufacturing sector" says Chris Petts, Managing Director, Lee Spring UK.
"Products on show will include compression, extension and REDUX™ Wave springs as well as some new products, including a range of low index, High Pressure Compression Springs and over 100 new metric Bantam™ Mini Compression Spring designs."
Bantam Mini Compression Springs are powerful springs designed to operate in small spaces and are often used in medical instruments, surgical tools and telecommunication devices, as well as computer and digital hardware. The new metric range from Lee Spring UK starts at .01mm, which is just a little thicker than a human hair, with outside diameters from .81 to 1.65 mm and free lengths from 1 mm to 14 mm. The existing imperial (inches) range of Bantam springs ranges from a .004" to .0055" wire diameter, with outside diameters of.025 to .057".
Lee Spring's new low index, High Pressure Compression Springs are suitable for applications with small spaces requiring firm, but not rigid, slender springs. Applications include switches, ball plungers, safety relief valves, quick change tools and vice clamps. The Lee Spring engineering team has designed an offering of 144 slender parts packed with high load capacities, rated to pressures of 300, 400, and 500 psi.
High Pressure Series Compression Springs in 17-7PH Stainless Steel are passivated, shotpeened, and preset, which provides a balance of corrosion resistance, high strength, and toughness.
To support its extensive stock range, Lee Spring offers a custom spring design service and can design and manufacture a virtually unlimited variety of spring configurations and specifications to suit any application in any sector.
MACH 2014 is the UK's largest event for Manufacturing Technologies. Over five days, more than 20,000 visitors will see some 500 exhibitors putting their latest technologies and innovations through their paces.
