Whether in R&D, production, process monitoring or quality control, incorporating temperature sensors or thermal imaging cameras to your application can help you achieve that fully automated process, improve quality control or aid health & safety in the work place. Our temperature sensors can work alone or in partnership with Thermal Imaging Cameras to assists in temperature detection, measurement or monitoring applications.
CTP-3 thermoMETER - ideal for temperature measurement of thin plastics
The NEW CTP-3 thermoMETER sensor is designed for temperature measurement and monitoring of thin plastics and films (<300µm).
Applications include:
- Plastic thin film extrusion/stretching
- Plastic thin film blowing
- Calendaring, laminating
Features include:
- Exact temperature measurement of thin plastic film (e.g. polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE) and polystyrene (PS)
- 3.43 µm wavelength, eliminating transmission errors by using a polymer-specific absorption band
- For use in ambient temperatures up to 75°C without cooling
TIM 160 - 120Hz high speed Thermal Imaging Camera
Working in partnership:
In conjunction with the CTP-3 the TIM 160 uses the line scanning feature to check the whole length of the material while laminating textiles onto plastics in the Automotive industry.
- Measuring range from -20°C to 1500°C
- Real time video recording at 120Hz frame rate and slow motion play back
- TIM Connect software, provides quick and easy set up and full video analysis
- Cooling jacket enclosure available for temperatures up to 315°C
TIM 450 - Thermal sensitivity of 40mK
Working in partnership:
The TIM 450 works together with the CTP-3 on a film blowing machine, monitoring the temperature and resistance on the air ring.
- Measuring range from -20°C to 1500°C
- Can detect tiny temperature differences with a thermal sensitivity of just 40mK
- Detailed analysis of fast thermodynamic processes
- License free software included
