Heavy duty plastic bearings from igus
igus UK has launched a new heavy duty version of its igubal clip spherical bearings.
The new plastic models are designed to withstand high loads and provide superior rotational, linear or swivelling movements. They are corrosion-free, chemical resistant and impervious against dirt and dust.
The bearings have been developed for machines and plant systems that have a minimum of available space and can be fitted easily with no additional axial securing.
They are suitable for applications where the bearing position is accessible from one side only, for example in closed machine housings or in a façade.
The lightweight bearings can absorb high loads up to 12.5kN radially and 350N axially. They are available in shaft diameters of 8 and 10.
